  2. Get Maida/ All Purpose Flour

  21. Prepare Water for brushing
  22. Take Kalunji and Chopped Green Coriander Leaves to sprinkle
Instructions to make 3 Types of Naan - Plain/Butter Naan, Garlic Butter Naan and Stuffed Cheesy Garlic Naan !!:
  1. Dough - In a big plate, take maida, milk powder, sugar, salt, fresh curd and baking soda. Mix all well. Add lukewarm water gradually to make soft dough. Knead the dough very well for 10 to 15 mins till you get soft and smooth dough. Grease the dough, cover with a damp cloth and keep aside for an hour. After an hour again knead dough for sometime. Make equal size balls, cover and keep aside.
  2. Plain/Butter Naan - Take one ball. Knead and flatten with the help of the hand or roll with help of the rolling pin. Sprinkle some coriander leaves and kalunji. Roll gently. Apply water on the other side by brush.
  3. Gently pick up the naan and put in a very hot iron tawa or iron pan. Make sure the side where you applied water is on tawa or pan. Cook properly for a minute or two on high flame. Turn the tawa or pan and cook naan from the upper side till it cooks properly on upper side. Keep tawa or pan on gas and slowly remove naan. Immediately apply butter if you want plain butter naan.
  4. Garlic Butter Naan - In a bowl, mix butter, garlic, coriander leaves and green chillies and keep aside. Take another ball. Flatten with hand or roll with the help of the rolling pin. Apply prepared garlic butter mixture and sprinkle some kalunji on it. Gently press with hand. Apply water on other side of the naan. Gently pick up the naan and put in a very hot tawa or pan and cook from both sides same as plain naan.
  5. Stuffed Cheesy Garlic Naan - In a bowl, mix grated cheese, garlic, coriander leaves and green chillies. Take one ball. Flatten with hand and keep the prepared stuffing in the center. Gently seal from all sides and make ball. Now gently flatten with hand or roll with the help of the rolling pin. Apply prepared butter garlic mixture and sprinkle some kalunji on it.Gently press with hand. Apply water on other side. Gently pick up the naan and put it in a very hot tawa or pan. Cook from both sides.
  6. Enjoy these different 3 types of Naan with any sabzi of your choice.
  7. Ready to serve and ENJOY!
