Shaping the gnocchi Flour a chopping and add the mashed potatoes and the flour Mix until it starts to come together and forms little clumps Start kneading the mixture until it's one big ball of gnocchi Cut the ball of gnocchi into 4 even pieces Flour the chopping board and add one of the pieces onto it Cut the piece in half and roll out into a long tube Cut the tube into gnocchi like pieces and repeat until all the gnocchi is shaped Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate until needed
  3. Cooking the gnocchi In a large saucepan add the other half of the water and the other half of the salt Bring to a boil Once the water is rapidly boiling add the gnocchi Once the gnocchi rises to the top drain the water
  4. Brown butter sauce and assembly In a large fry pan over medium-high heat add the butter and stir Once the butter has fully melted add 1/2 cup of water and continue stirring Once the water has boiled add the sage and the gnocchi Add another 1/2 cup of water and stir until the water has boiled Add another 1/2 cup of water and stir until the water has almost fully boiled add parmesan and serve
  5. Ready to serve and ENJOY!
